Glasscock is the executive director of the Journalism Education Association, which has its national headquarters in Kedzie Hall. He also teaches journalism with an emphasis in photojournalism, reporting and magazine production.
He earned a B.S. graduating from the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications in 2004.
Glasscock worked at the Jackson Hole News&guide as a photojournalist from 2004-06. He then became a full-time freelance photographer in the Wichita, Kansas area for clients such as the Wichita Eagle, Wichita State Athletics, Associated Press, Getty Images among others.
In 2007 he became an educator and worked as an adviser to student media while teaching journalism at Andover High School, then at Derby High School before starting his current position at K-State in 2014.
