Sarah Howe is the lead academic advisor for all pre-major, major and minor students. She is also the lead recruiter for the A.Q. Miller School and faculty advisor for the JMC Ambassadors. Sarah teaches MC 010 Pre-Major Orientation. 

Raised in Manhattan, Kan., Sarah is a K-State graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Agriculture in Park Management and Conservation and a secondary major in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. She also holds a Graduate Certificate from K-State and NACADA in Academic Advising. In December 2015 she will complete her Master's in Student Affairs in Higher Education and College Student Development, also from K-State. 

Since beginning her K-State career in 2011, she has worked in Study Abroad and the Office of Student Activities. She brings her knowledge of K-State, student resources, co-curricular and extra-curricular involvement opportunities to advising in the A.Q. Miller School. 

Outside of her professional career, Sarah is a beekeeper and enjoys helping at her family farm where they raise goats and ducks. She enjoys spending time with her husband fishing, doing home improvement projects and refinishing furniture. She loves watching K-State sports, especially football.
