Social Media Intern

Position Description: The Office of International Programs seeks a student worker to serve a Social Media Intern for the Spring 2020 semester. This position is unpaid, but can be used to fulfill internship or practicum credit. The Social Media Intern will be responsible for the marketing, brand development, and promotion of the Office of International Programs, as well as the units within the International Programs department.

Kansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. Communications Internship

Position Description: Kansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc.offers a paid communications internship at their Topeka office for the spring 2020 semester (January-May). The company will pay $12 per hour for a student majoring in communications, marketing, event planning, public relations or related field.  Hours are flexible, but will be scheduled during business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday). Strong visual design skills, Photoshop and InDesign, are desired.

FHDC Spring Marketing Internship

Loud Light KS Intern

Position Description: Loud Light engages, educates, and empowers leaders from underrepresented populations to build community power that has an impact on decision makers. Loud Light is going to run a voter registration internship for local elections. Over the course of the fall semester and leading up to the November local election, students would become familiar with their local ballot, host 2-3 voter registration events, and do some GOTV work. Students will also get the change to network. Some weeks there might be a couple hours of work some weeks there would be none; unpaid.
