Social Media Intern

Position Description: Children and Youth Empowerment Centre/Zawadi Fund International offers unpaid internships to undergraduate and graduate students who want to gain some experience managing social media accounts for a non-profit organization. Interns will work 5-10 hours per week. No US work authorization required. Read the announcement.

Remote Internship Opportunities to Turn Out Youth Vote

Position Description: Student PIRGs is looking for college students who want to become effective activists and organizers to join their New Voters Project campaign this fall semester. The project aims to work with with colleges’ student governments and other student groups to make sure young voters do not miss Election Day. The organization has internship positions for campus outreach, programs outreach, and spreading the world through media and social media.

League of Women Voters Public Relations & Social Media Intern

Position Description: Due to the pandemic, the League of Women Voters of Manhattan/Riley County needs to do nearly all of the voter registration and education via social media this year. The League has an unpaid internship position for a student to help with PR/social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). The intern will work 5-15 hours per week, depending on events and election seasons (up to 120 hours per semester). This internship is applicable for those who enroll for internship credit hours through Kansas State.

Blog and Social Media Internship

Filming Internship Opportunities

Position Description: David Sumner is looking to cast the major roles, locate the shooting locations, and recruit crew members for a feature length movie filmed within a 50 mile radius of Manhattan Kansas for two weeks in October of this year. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to work on a real film. 

Because of the film’s low budget of a little over 10 thousand dollars, any cast member would have to be willing to work on deferred payment, a percentage of the film’s gross perhaps, and the work credit.

DeceptiveSpeed.com Internship Opportunities

Position Description: DeceptiveSpeed.com is debuting a new internship program for college sports content creators this fall called The Student Section. Students will have their work published on a national college sports website, which started with three friends who met working at their campus newspaper.

JNT's Empower Summer Internship
